You are making so much possible. In less than one year, the Bay Area Society for Art & Activism has grown to 89 members and together we have raised $8,764 with over $3000 of that already going directly into the hands of over a dozen Bay Area artists, curators, and activists. A small but mighty start of which we can be proud.
Over this winter, local writer and curator Dorothy Santos enthusiastically hopped aboard our Executive Staff. In addition to curating our Oakland/SF parallel exhibition, The Dissidents, the Displaced, and the Outliers, Dorothy is providing much needed support for our grant writing and communication efforts and quickly becoming an indispensable joy to work with.
